Here’s a little video of us at the Akron Zoo last week. My favorite parts are the kids feeding the goats and sheep, and Silas’ reaction to some double doors about to close on him.

arkansas pics
Here are a few of my pics from my Arkansas trip. I still have to get my Dad’s and sister’s pics, so after I do, I’ll probably make an official album, but for now, here are a few of mine:
The kids around the table while making a gingerbread house. From left to right: Elliott, Silas, Brianna, Esther and Heidi.
The gingerbread house.
Silas and Elliott in their new warm winter hats from Omsie. Silas loves his.
Us girls went to a Christmas craft sale called “Lil’ Bit of Christmas” while my Dad babysat the boys. Here’s Steph, Brianna, Mom, Esther and Heidi.
Brianna and I at a Christmas wreath stand.
Esther playing with Brianna and a moose puppet.
Steph has 3 dogs this size that live around her house, so it really helped Silas get over his fear of dogs, although he’s still cautious around them.
Heidi playing either a Hello Kitty or Strawberry Shortcake game with Silas.
Uncle Terrill showing Silas and Elliott a photo album with tractors in it.
Heidi stirring the beans for Terrill & Steph’s new company, Big Mouth Barbecue!
Esther stirring the caramel for the caramel apples!
Us eating our homemade caramel apples. They are the best!
cleveland zoo craziness
Last week we went to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo with Sam & Kim & their boys. It was a fun time, and having the two babies along made it even more interesting!
Brianna about to enter the dinosaur area.
Ben, Paul, Brian and Silas in the wolf & beaver observation area.
Below is a video summary of our trip to the zoo!
akron zoo antics
On Saturday we went to the Akron Zoo with Brian’s Mom. Below are some pictures and video of our adventure:
Us four by a waterfall.
Silas wearing his safari hat.
There were two adorable baby jaguars there. Here is one with it’s mommy.
The big lion.
Below is a video of some stuff we did at the zoo:
duck-feeding frenzy
Yesterday we went to the creek to feed some hamburger buns to a bunch of ducks and geese. Check it out!
wildlife wonders
Yesterday evening, while eating supper, we saw seven deer run through our backyard!
Unfortunately, it happened so fast that we were unable to photograph it, so I’ve posted a pic of a random deer for you to look at.
